Irresponsible Wikipedia declares Ethiopian Prime Minister dead

Update: since we posted this article wikipedia has changed their page about PM Meles several time withn time span of few hours. In their latest update they seems to be kind enough to bring Mr Meles back from the dead. This is irresponsble journalism on part of wikipedia and a great lesson to all of us not to trust wikipedia any more. We have posted a screen shot of the latest wikipedia page about PM Meles below together with the earliest one.

The credibility and reliability of Wikipedia is seriously under threat. The free encyclopedia, which is struggling to attain its credibility, has now lost all that has left of it. The irresponsible online encyclopedia that claims to advance open and free information exchange seems to do the exact opposite of openness and fairness. In a disturbing and unprofessional manner it has declared the Ethiopia’s Prime Minister as died in France on July 11, 2012. This is a horrendous act on the part of Wikipedia that illustrates its lack of respect to Ethiopia and its people.

Recent reliable sources have indicated that PM Meles has undergone a successful surgery in Germany. Whereas Wikipedia writes “He was PM President of Ethiopia from 1995 to 2012” and declaring him of died on July 11 in France. This is a serious journalistic error that puts the whole credibility issue of wikipedia on the line.

We have pasted the screenshot of this disturbing wikipedia information below.
